He was born in Granada and that is where Adrian Sanchez made his debut with the ballet company “Spanish Dancers of Mayte Galán” in the hall of “Neptun’s Gardens”. He continued his engagement with this company for five years and at the same time started to work for the TV show “La Buena Música”.

In 1992 Adrian performed at the world festival in Confonles, France. In 1993 he began his 9-months-tour which led him around the globe from Paris to Abu Dhabi. In 1994 he showed his art in Santo Domingo working for various hotel chains. Only one year later he founded his own company “Taracea” which was contracted by the prestigious Grenadian hall “El Corral del Principe”.

In 1996 he performed in the second part of "El Amor Brujo" by Manolo Marin during the Granada Music and Dance Festival, conducted by Manolete (Flamenco Soy). The same year he acted at the Maestranza Theatre in Seville.

In 1997 he worked in the Cairo Concert Hall of the World Trade Centre, Egypt and further performed at the Kiev Opera House, Ukraine. Moreover he featured the world premiere of the movie “Death in Granada” by Andy Garcia, directed by Fura d`lbaus.

In 1998 he danced for a period of six months on stage of the Flamenco Café de Chinitas in Tokyo and continued dancing for this café, later performing in Madrid.

In 1999 he debuted with his company in the concert hall of “Florida Park”, Madrid where he gave daily entries for two years. At the same time he managed to perform solos on stage of the “Casa Patas Theatre”.
In 2000 he worked for three months as director and choreographer at the flamenco establishment “Gran Melia Caracas” in Venezuela.

Between January and August 2001 he gave classes in Marseille and furthermore travelled to Israel and Los Angeles to perform at festivals.
In 2002 he was contracted as first dancer in the piece "Sentimiento" directed by Rafael de Cordoba, its world tour started in Taiwan and ended in Madrid.

In 2003 he performed at the Granada Music and Dance Festival, followed by a great success in 2004 at the 17th National Contest of Flamenco Arts in Córdoba where he reached the final. He then travelled to Tehran, being the only dancer allowed to perform there since 1979 due to religious and political reasons prevailing in the country. Later this year he was invited by the Centro Solea, Marseille to perform in the piece “La Monja Gitana”.

In 2005 he was accepted to present his choreography "Un Paseo Flamenco" in the “Madrid Contest of Choreography” in the Albeniz Theatre.

On January 29, 2006 he presented his latest show “Taracea” in the Isabel de Catolica Theatre in Granada. The tickets were sold out three days prior to the premiere. This initial success continued throughout the entire tour in the county of Aragón, each performance being highly frequented.

In 2007 he choreographed scenes for a short film by the New Yorker director Harry Maolh. Adrian also strongly supported the promotion of the film. Later that year he presented the show “Un Paseo Flamenco” to the Cervantes Institute in Manchester.  

In 2008 he received two invitations from the Greek Institute of Flamenco in Athens to give classes and to perform. Later he acted at the International Festival of Tampere, Finland along with Esperanza Fernandez and Niño Josele.

Currently he is the holder of the award “Best Artistic Image 2008”.
